What we collect

If you use the Stay Close form, we collect your email address, the signup timestamp, your consent status, and the signup source. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you choose to send.

If you use Ask Freya, we collect the name or nickname you choose to share (optional), your email address, the story context and question you submit, your publication permission selection, and whether you have separately opted in to the mailing list.

How it is used

Subscriber information is used to send occasional email communications from Freya Verandi. Every email includes unsubscribe instructions. Contact information is used to receive and respond to messages when appropriate.

For Ask Freya, your email address is used only to respond to your submission and is never published. If you choose “Yes, anonymously,” that permission allows possible adapted publication after your name, email address, and identifying details are removed, but it never guarantees publication. Private submissions are never published or shared outside the team needed to prepare the response.

Mailing-list consent is separate and optional. Ask Freya responses may be prepared with assistance from the human author and creative team behind Freya.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use analytics or cookies beyond what the hosting platform provides. We do not add advertising trackers.
